Equipment
Three SMT lines with a combined rated placement capacity of 500,000 components per hour, laser-cut stainless stencils with nano-coating, reflow, wave and selective soldering. SAC305 lead-free as standard; tin-lead where you specify it. Prototypes, pilot builds and volume orders run on the same lines, so the reflow profile proven at prototype is the one that ships.

Process range
SMT, through-hole (DIP), post-solder and mixed technology on the same floor. The smallest part we place is 01005 imperial (0402 metric), with 0201 imperial (0603 metric) as standard, and we run fine pitch and micro BGA. Boards run on FR-4, aluminium, ceramic, Rogers, flex and rigid-flex. BGA and IR rework is done here, not sent out to a third party.

Test in-house
AOI, X-ray, ICT, flying probe, FCT and visual inspection are all on site. You specify the acceptance class — IPC-A-610 Class 2 or Class 3 — and the functional test to run, and the boards are built and inspected to it. First article inspection before the line runs.

Material and delivery
Turnkey, partial turnkey and consigned assembly. Under turnkey we purchase the full BOM; under consigned you ship the parts and we assemble, test and pack them. Kitting status and build progress are traceable by lot, and the ship date is fixed once the kit is complete and then held.

ABOUT KAMEDA
A Zhuhai factory that builds circuit boards for other companies.
Zhuhai Kameda Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in July 2018 in Doumen District, Zhuhai, Guangdong. We assemble printed circuit boards to customer drawings and technical files: three SMT lines, through-hole and post-solder lines, box build and a manual assembly line, from prototype and pilot run through to repeat volume production. The floor is temperature and humidity controlled and ESD-controlled.
Alongside assembly we do schematic design, PCB layout, firmware and SDK work, and DFM, DFT and DFR review before a board is committed to tooling. The plant also runs more than 100 industrial robots, SCARA work cells, more than 50 3D printers, CNC machining, laser cutting and laser welding — which is how fixtures, jigs and enclosure parts for a new product get made without waiting on an outside shop.

FAQ- Q.Do you take prototypes and low volumes, and what is the minimum order?A.Yes. Prototype, pilot run and volume production all run on the same lines. There is no fixed unit minimum — the practical floor is set by the components, because most parts are sold in reels and some have minimum purchase quantities. For a first build, tell us the quantity you actually want and we will quote it, and say whether you want the same price held for a follow-on volume order.
- Q.What files do you need to quote?A.Gerber files (or ODB++), the BOM with manufacturer part numbers, and the pick-and-place file. Add the assembly drawing, the acceptance class you want the board built to (IPC-A-610 Class 2 or Class 3), any conformal coating or selective solder requirement, and the functional test specification if you want FCT. If you only have Gerbers and a BOM we can still quote, but the price carries assumptions we will list.
- Q.Who buys the components — you or us?A.Either. Turnkey means we purchase the entire BOM against your part numbers. Partial turnkey means you supply the long-lead, allocated or expensive parts — MCUs, RF modules, connectors — and we buy the rest. Consigned assembly means you ship the full kit and we assemble, test and pack. Under consigned kits we ask for a small attrition quantity on 01005 and 0201 chip parts and on fine-pitch packages.
- Q.What are your lead times, and how do you ship?A.Lead time on a turnkey job is driven by component procurement, not by line time; we confirm a ship date when the kit is complete and hold it. Consigned jobs are scheduled from the date the kit lands in our warehouse. We can quote EXW, FOB, CIF or DAP by air or sea, or hand the cartons to your own forwarder — tell us which Incoterm you work with and the packing and labelling you need.
- Q.How do you protect our design?A.We sign an NDA before files are transferred, and we will sign yours rather than insist on ours. Your Gerbers, BOM, firmware and test specification are used to build your product and nothing else. Stencils, fixtures and programming files are stored under your account, and are returned or destroyed when you ask. We do not name customers or show customer boards on this site or in any quotation.
